Beyond RV is expanding its factory team to meet strong demand. We are seeking one experienced caravan or slide-on camper builder to join our team in Mutdapilly, Queensland.
Position Details
- Location: 77 Coleyville Road, Mutdapilly QLD 4307
- Employment: Permanent full-time
- Pay: $30–$50 per hour plus superannuation
- Hours: Monday to Friday, generally 8:00 am–5:00 pm, with a one-hour lunch break from 12:00 pm–1:00 pm
- Saturday work: Optional Saturday work may be available by agreement
- Positions available: One
The final hourly rate will be based on relevant experience, practical ability, qualifications and the demonstrated quality of your work.
Applicants seeking the upper end of the pay range should have approximately 5–10 years of proven experience producing high-quality caravans, RVs, slide-on campers or similar products.
About the Role
You will help build and complete high-quality caravans and slide-on campers in a practical, safety-focused factory environment.
Depending on your experience, your work may include:
- Caravan and slide-on camper assembly
- Interior fit-out and finishing
- Cabinetry and furniture installation
- Aluminium or steel fabrication
- Plumbing and appliance installation
- Sealing, waterproofing and exterior finishing
- Diagnosing and correcting construction or fit-out problems
- Final quality inspections and preparation for delivery
Electrical installation is handled by Beyond RV's experienced electrician and is not part of this position.
What We're Looking For
The successful applicant will ideally have:
- At least two years of hands-on experience building caravans, RVs, campers or similar products
- Proven experience in caravan or slide-on camper construction
- Strong practical skills across one or more areas such as cabinetry, fabrication, plumbing, assembly, sealing or finishing
- Excellent attention to detail
- Pride in producing high-quality workmanship
- The ability to work safely and follow established production processes
- Reliable attendance and the ability to travel to our Mutdapilly factory each working day
- A positive attitude and the ability to contribute effectively within a factory team
- Australian working rights
A relevant trade qualification is preferred but not essential where an applicant can demonstrate substantial practical experience and high-quality work.
All tools required for the position are provided.
